Each graduation, an Outstanding Student receives an award for exemplary performance during their education. Recently Scott Blanchard of the Welding Technology training program received the award for EIT at our Spring 2019 graduation ceremony. Here is what Director of Education Kate Hushon said about him at the event.
Scott graduates tonight with a Diploma in the Welding Technology program.
Scott was an extremely hard worker, he was in class every day, and he excelled academically. A person who got along with everyone, Scott mentored fellow students throughout his time at EIT…truly a leader.
Doug Jordan, the Welding Technology program director, says of Scott: “I can’t think of a more deserving student to receive this award.”
