Each graduation, an Outstanding Student receives an award for exemplary performance during their education. Recently Brian Samick of the Welding Technology training program received the award for EIT at our Winter 2019 graduation ceremony. Here is what School Director Paul Fitzgerald said about him at the event.
Brian graduates tonight with a Diploma in the Welding Technology program.
After deciding to make a career change, Brian enrolled at EIT.
He worked hard, he was in class every day, and he excelled academically. A person who got along with everyone, Brian mentored fellow students throughout his time at EIT…all while working full time.
Doug Jordan, the Welding Technology program director, says of Brian: One of the best students I ever had…a very deserving choice.
