Each graduation, an Outstanding Student receives an award for exemplary performance during their education. Recently Shane Earp of the Medical Equipment Technician program received the award for EIT at our Winter 2018 graduation ceremony. Here is what School Director Paul Fitzgerald said about him at the event.
Shane graduates tonight with an Associate Degree in the Medical Equipment Technician program.
After being laid off at Joy Manufacturing, Shane enrolled in the Electronics program at EIT…and graduated…he then transferred into the Medical Equipment Technician program…and graduated.
An extremely hard working and committed young man, Shane drove to EIT daily from Oil City, attended school in the morning… and then worked in the afternoons.
Family man…happy…always willing to help…are just a few of the traits that describe Shane.
Ric Thayer, the Medical Equipment Technician program director, says of Shane: works hard and learns fast…and extremely dedicated to his profession and to his family.
