TITLE IX
PROHIBITED BEHAVIORS UNDER TITLE IX: Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, intimate-Partner Violence including dating violence and domestic violence, Stalking including cyber-stalking. Prohibited conduct may affect all actual or perceived genders, gender identities, and sexual orientation.
Anyone, including a third party, may report sexual misconduct to Erie Institute of Technology personnel. Reports are made to the Title IX coordinator and by law all reports of sexual misconduct receive a response. Title IX regulations balance the desire for confidentiality with discretion to pursue investigation where factual circumstances warrant investigation.

ROLE OF THE TITLE IX COORDINATOR
The Title IX Coordinator ensures schools are compliant with Title IX, coordinates the investigation and disciplinary process, and looks for patterns or systematic problems with compliance to ensure schools fulfill all their federal obligations. The Deputy Coordinator assists the Title IX coordinator to ensure compliance in carrying out the requirements of Title IX and related laws and regulations.
